International cooperation is a key learning priority for PURPAN and a recognized area of excellence for the school.
It is one of our three core missions, alongside training and research and development.
This openness revolves around the main themes of student, staff and internship mobility.
All of PURPAN’s international cooperation operations are made possible by a department staffed by nine permanent employees and several research professors who are ambassadors for the school.

PURPAN’s network of international partners relies on long-standing relationships with certain universities or educational institutions with bilateral cooperation agreements.
This network benefits from all the partnerships fostered by collaboration within the France Agro³ circle.
PURPAN has active relationships with 176 partners* worldwide, including:
*This list of partner universities covers inbound and outbound mobility, and is subject to change. The updated list of possible partners is communicated each year by the International Relations Department directly to the class of students concerned during the presentation campaigns.
Staff mobility
Teachers-researchers who wish to enrich their expertise, share it and develop their networks have the opportunity to carry out teaching assignments at partner universities. 30% of PURPAN’s teacher-researchers take part in missions, congresses or conferences at partner universities every year
Staff can also train and share their professional expertise by taking part in European “staff week” events.
The Erasmus + program helps fund all or part of these periods abroad (for more information, please contact our Grants department).
Reciprocally, the school welcomes research professors and professionals from foreign universities. Erasmus + also co-funds the accommodation and travel expenses of staff from European companies who take part in our courses.
ERASMUS +
To prepare future engineers for a professional environment marked by globalization, and to show them the relevant agricultural, economic and cultural realities, PURPAN encourages as much international exposure as possible.
The school is an Erasmus + charter holder, meaning it undertakes to respect the fundamental principles of European programs and their values, and to make the international dimension an integral part of its strategy.
The program encourages mobility in Europe and around the world for students (periods of study or internships), teaching staff and all staff of higher education establishments.
