School environment
40 hectares of landscaped grounds in the heart of Toulouse
The campus features a number of modern infrastructures and facilities tailored to the latest developments in educational practices.
The School sits opposite the Cartoucherie eco-district and lies close to the covered food market that was built at the turn of the 20th century and which is due to be refurbished to house a range of cultural and commercial equipment.
A festive mood is prevalent in Toulouse, which can be attributed to the influence of neighbouring Spain. A Latin-style atmosphere clearly reigns in its streets.
The ultimate student city and the second largest university city in France with 115,000 students, Toulouse (known as the “pink city”) dynamically combines cutting-edge industry and research with the art of living in a city where rugby is the flagship sport.
The School boasts a special service to assist students in finding accommodation within a narrow radius of the School.
The School’s environment and history greatly simplify the search process.
Various solutions are available, including collective housing, co-location, individual apartments and individual units in houses. All these solutions cover a wide range of affordable prices.
PURPAN is fortunate enough to have a campus in Toulouse with excellent links to public transport. Several bus routes run past the School. The tramway system, which is connected to the underground, has a stop just 500 metres from the School.
Our campus has been designed to accommodate cars and bikes. Our students have set up several car-sharing solutions.
A university restaurant subsidised by the student support service is located at the veterinary school and caters for three university schools in the west end of Toulouse. The restaurant is a mere five minutes from the School. The Students’ Board organises several fast food solutions at the site.
The School’s 40-hectare lush green setting is home to all the scientific, teaching and sports equipment and facilities.
