Future French Luxury

We think the future of luxury is sustainability…. And to develop sustainable systems we need to go back to the roots of luxury, where nature meets creativity,  and where tradition and innovation blend.

FUTURE FRENCH LUXURY is a postgraduate program dedicated to the sustainable management of prestige products, from R&D to conception and production to distribution and marketing. Our goal is to empower tomorrow’s managers to create value for all stakeholders, and limit the impact of economic activies. To do so we need to understand the entire value chain so as to make informed decisions and drive the transformation. Corporate Social Responsibility is the core of the curriculum.

Spend a year in Ecole de Purpan, in Toulouse, Southern France and learn how to build sustainable agrofood systems.

Let’s go back to the roots of luxury

For us, excellence is based on exceptional products, born from a “terroir” – unique places and traditions, priceless knowledge and craftsmanship, and innovation. An exceptional product is created through many steps, many differents resources and skills. These are the roots of luxury. From the person birthing the calf to the person selling the handbag, from the grass feeding the animal to the fashion designer’s inspiration, all elements are crucial to bring out the best quality.

Understand and master the entire value chain

Tomorrow’s luxury managers need to master the entire value chain, from local to global, from field to consumers.
We believe this systemic approach is the best path to create sustainable agrofood systems and strong brands. New luxury managers will scrutinize every steps of the process, analyzing the product life cycle, creating better practices, stabilizing the supply chain, assessing the impact the business has on different levels. This new balance will respect all stake holders and hopefully improve the wellbeing of all living being involved.

Corporate Social Responsibility is tomorrow’s #1 competitivity factor

« Where does the product come from? Who created it? Who made it? Is it cruelty-free? What is its impact on health, the environment and climate change? » So many questions brands have to face today. A luxury brand which doesn’t embrace Corporate Social Responsibility now takes the risk to see its value challenged. Tomorrow every manager will have to consider economic performance, social performance and environmental performance in all their activities. Will you be one of them?
