{"id":9672,"date":"2024-12-27T17:02:43","date_gmt":"2024-12-27T16:02:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.purpan.fr\/international\/erasmus-and-other-grants\/"},"modified":"2025-02-06T14:30:40","modified_gmt":"2025-02-06T13:30:40","slug":"erasmus-and-other-grants","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.purpan.fr\/en\/international\/erasmus-and-other-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"Erasmus + and other grants"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__wrapper\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__inner-wrapper\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__background-holder\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__background\"><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__foreground\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__inner-content\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>To prepare future engineers for a professional environment marked by<strong> <\/strong>globalization, and to show them the relevant agricultural, economic and cultural realities, PURPAN encourages as much <strong>international exposure<\/strong> as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The school is <strong>an Erasmus + charter holder<\/strong>, meaning it undertakes to respect the fundamental principles of European programs and their values, and to make the international dimension an integral part of its strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program encourages<strong> mobility in Europe and around the world<\/strong> for students (periods of study or internships), teaching staff and all staff of higher education establishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program\u2019s priorities are promoted at PURPAN as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.purpan.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/22061501_france_agro_3_esa_bc_stuk_v02_1-light.mp4\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#3e4df4\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Raising awareness of eco-responsible travel<\/mark><\/span><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information on <strong>inclusion-related support <\/strong>(disability, rural revitalization zone, urban district, CROUS level 6 and 7 scholarship holders and CAF family quotient below \u20ac551).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transformation of processes<strong> including the program\u2019s digital developments<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It also facilitates<strong> partnership actions <\/strong>through cooperation projects, knowledge alliances, upskilling projects and joint master\u2019s programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PURPAN manages<strong> an Erasmus + consortium for outgoing student mobility and teaching and training mobility<\/strong> on behalf of JUNIA ISA and ISARA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-getwid-button-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-button-group__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.purpan.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/purpan_stratgie_politique-erasmus_2021-2027.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>PURPAN International Strategy &#8211; Since January 2021, despite the COVID pandemic, <strong>more than 150 students have been funded.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2022, the Erasmus + program has made it possible to<strong> fund study visits outside Europe, subject to signed institutional agreements. <\/strong><strong>11 PURPAN students <\/strong>benefited in the first year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 2009 to 2019, <strong>186 students were supported during their internship in Europe.<\/strong> Since 2021, the program has covered more students. <strong>100% of students doing an internship in Europe (over 260 students) are funded by the <\/strong>program, with an average amount of over \u20ac2000 per internship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All students have health and civil liability insurance at no extra cost<\/strong> as part of the compulsory periods they spend abroad.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__wrapper\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__inner-wrapper\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__background-holder\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__background\"><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__foreground\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-section__inner-content\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Teaching and training mobility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, <strong>research professors<\/strong> wishing to enrich their expertise, share it and develop their networks<strong> have the opportunity to carry out teaching assignments at partner universities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Staff can also train and share their professional expertise<\/strong> by taking part in European staff week events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Erasmus + program helps<strong> fund all or part of these periods abroad<\/strong> (for more information, please contact our Grants department).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Erasmus + also co-funds <strong>the accommodation and travel expenses of staff from European companies who take part in our courses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div project&nbsp;<\/strong>through INP Toulouse with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Four Cambodian universities<\/strong> (Royal University of Agriculture &#8211; Phnom Penh, University of Battambang, Institut Technologique du Cambodge &#8211; Phnom Penh and Royal University of Law and Economics &#8211; Phnom Penh);<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>The University of Li\u00e8ge in Belgium<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>INP &#8211; ENSAT Toulouse<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>SupAgro Montpellier<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This project enabled<strong> agri-food science and management courses to be created for Cambodian universities<\/strong> and<strong> food safety laboratories and kitchens <\/strong>to be equipped to produce new products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PURPAN took part in this project,<strong> sharing its expertise and knowledge in training future entrepreneurs <\/strong>in the agri-food sector, as well as in the design of an agri-food technology hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/foodstem-euproject.itc.edu.kh\/\" target=\"_blank\" 2023, 27 students from the \u201c<strong>International Trade in Agriculture and Food Products<\/strong>\u201d DA spent a week in Spain focusing on the export of certified wine. The study trip was supported by two online sessions, enabling students from PURPAN and partner universities in Padua and Tarragona to get to know each other before they met, and to learn from the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scheme,<strong> funded by Erasmus +<\/strong>, is the result of over a year\u2019s work by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAACedSKMB4GGA8VwdedovKf1nLQ80JRYcPOI\">Cendrine Augu\u00e8res<\/a>&nbsp;and the University of Tarragona. Several organizations contribute to the funding of these grants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <strong>The Occitanie region<\/strong> <strong>supports all recipients of CROUS grants regardless of their grant level<\/strong>. It helps families on the basis of their family quotient.
