The PURPAN Scientific Council is composed of 20 members, 18 of whom are external experts
Scientists, representatives of economic or professional sectors or networks (e.g. two farmers sit on the council).
The main tasks of the Scientific Council are:

When convened by the Chairman (an eminent and renowned scientific expert), it meets twice a year in plenary sessions, during which it hears two or three research teams and exercises its functions in all the School's 'Research/Development/Consultancy' activities.
The minutes of its work constitute operational documents used to orient the activities of the Research teams and, additionally, PURPAN's scientific strategy.
